"Wow... that is so cool!"

My approach to massage therapy is rooted in curiosity + fascination with the body’s innate striving towards balance. In our sessions I am a facilitator: I listen to and honour your own history and wisdom of your body before offering the knowledge + skills I have acquired through my clinical studies + experience of manual therapy.

Starting with the root cause of your discomfort, together we create a treatment plan unique to you that is grounded in the intention of assisting your body’s natural, continuous movement towards a state of ease.

Some days you may be looking for deeper manual muscle therapy. Other days a lighter touch may be best. It’s not unusual to feel disconnected from or frustrated with our physical selves; I accept you however you choose to present yourself, including your pronouns, gender expression and identity.

tail wags.

I use a variety of techniques with myofascial and trigger point release, muscle re-setting, active and passive stretching, and neuromuscular techniques being the most commonly used from my toolbox, with your involvement being the foundation of our sessions. We end with prescriptive home-care exercises and small adjustments in your daily activities that will extend the benefits of your massage treatment so you feel empowered and proactive in the maintenance of your health and wellbeing.

On a professional note, I am a member in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Care Professionals of British Columbia. I completed my training at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and continue to stay up-to-date with research, modalities and techniques through annual continuing education.

Outside of the treatment space you can find me wild swimming in salty waters, ripping around the Pacific Northwest on various two-wheeled purveyors of adventure, and running trails with my pup, Ever (who will most likely greet you here at the studio)!
