You want to feel better.

Receiving massage therapy should not be an added stress but we must acknowledge that it is not without its risks.

While I have done everything possible to minimize the risks of transmission of communicable diseases, the nature of massage therapy means that physical distancing is not possible in the treatment room. There is a potential risk of both spreading + contracting a communicable disease through receiving massage therapy treatment, and I am asking you to consider this before you make the decision to come in.

If you have any questions or concerns before your session please feel free to contact me at hello@raynamilne.com

Protocols in place as of April 6, 2023:

1)

Twenty-four hours prior to your session you will receive and be asked to complete a Health & Wellness Self-Assessment Tool. When we meet in-person we will review this together and mutually agree to proceed with treatment.

2)

Arrive no more than 5 minutes early, and please arrive alone. First visit? Once you exit the elevator or stairs I will be waiting to greet you, provide an infrared temperature check and access to the washroom so you may wash your hands.

3)

As of April 6, 2023 the provincial health officer of B.C. has removed the requirement to wear a mask, however “in some health-care settings, you must wear a medical mask when requested by a health-care professional”. As the nature of massage therapy requires close, in-person patient contact I have chosen to wear a mask during treatment sessions and encourage you to as well, however this is a personal choice.

4)

Please bring only essential items with you (including a personal water bottle). There is a bench for you to sit on and remove your shoes upon entering, a coat hook to hang outdoor clothing, and a tray for bags, purses and other personal items.

That covers your responsibilities in this exchange - thank you in advance for taking the time and energy to keep us both as safe as possible!

The space is largely free of anything non-essential, but still cozy and welcoming! The windows will be slightly open to allow for fresh air circulation. I will greet you wearing a mask and will wear it for the entirety of our session. Between each guest I sanitize everything with CDC approved chemical solvents. Anything that could potentially be touched during your time within the space will have been sanitized! As always, I will be following Vancouver Coastal Health guidelines regarding the cleaning of linens, equipment, and hand hygiene/washing.
